Assistant Professor - English

Responsibilities:

 Teach undergraduate and graduate level English courses

 Develop and update course materials and assessments

 Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication

 Mentor and advise students

 Participate in department and college committees

 Contribute to departmental and college-wide initiatives

 Provide leadership and guidance to junior faculty members

Qualifications:

 Ph D in English Literature or related field from an accredited institution

 Significant teaching experience at the university level

 Strong research record in English Literature, with a focus on modern and contemporary literature

 Experience in curriculum development and assessment

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education
