Experience - 7+ Years
Location: Gurugram
Important Note:
- This role is heavily focused on Public Relations (PR) + Storytelling
- Candidates from non-retail industries will not be considered
We are hiring for a premium footwear brand and are looking for someone who can lead Public Relations (PR) and Social Media, shaping how the brand shows up across media, culture, and digital platforms.
The role requires someone who is strongly inclined towards PR and storytelling, and can create meaningful brand narratives, campaigns, and buzz — not just execute day-to-day tasks.
What you'll be doing:
- Driving end-to-end PR strategy and execution aligned with brand goals
- Creating story angles, PR moments, and campaigns that build brand visibility and cultural relevance
- Working closely with PR agencies on media pitches, press releases, interviews, and coverage
- Building strong relationships with media, influencers, stylists, and key opinion leaders
- Leading brand collaborations and partnerships
- Managing PR for launches, campaigns, and key brand moments
- Owning the social media storytelling and content plan along with the agency
- Ensuring all communication is aligned with brand tone and visual identity
- Driving engagement and community building through meaningful content
- Tracking performance across PR and social, and optimizing based on insights
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of experience in Marketing / Public Relations (PR) / Brand Communication
- Strong hands-on experience in both PR and Social Media (this is a must)
- Someone who is a storyteller — able to create campaigns, narratives, and brand buzz (not just execution-focused)
- Candidates strictly from Retail – Fashion / Lifestyle / Apparel / Footwear / Luxury brands only
- Strong understanding of media landscape, trends, and digital ecosystem
- Good network with media, influencers, and industry stakeholders
- Ability to manage agencies, collaborations, and cross-functional teams
