Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, FP&A Analyst
The FP&A Analyst provides hands-on financial planning and analysis support for assigned client accounts. The role is responsible for executing activities related to budgeting, forecasting, accruals, purchase orders, and financial reporting. The Analyst ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial processes while maintaining alignment with delivery, procurement, and client finance teams. This position supports fiscal discipline, budget adherence, and transparent reporting to both internal and client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Budgeting and Forecasting
Assist in preparing and updating client account budgets in coordination with delivery and finance teams.
Collect and analyze data to support forecast updates and financial planning cycles.
Prepare variance analyses between forecast, actuals, and budget to identify key drivers.
Support any movement of budgets, headcount transfers, or reallocation requests.
Accruals & Financial Tracking
Prepare monthly accrual schedules and validate data to ensure accurate reporting.
Reconcile accrual balances with accounting teams and process necessary adjustments.
Maintain documentation supporting accrual assumptions and updates in client systems.
Purchase Order & Invoice Management
Track and manage purchase orders - creation, utilization, and renewals.
Maintain visibility into invoicing milestones, billing schedules, and payment status.
Collaborate with client finance and procurement to resolve invoice disputes promptly.
Ensure open invoices are reflected accurately in accruals and update records upon closure.
Reconcile and update client financial systems to maintain consistency and accuracy.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, highlighting revenue, costs, and margins.
Support delivery teams with project-level financial data and metrics.
Provide data extracts, reconciliations, and financial summaries for leadership reviews.
Assist with weekly and monthly reporting packages for business and client stakeholders.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure all transactions comply with corporate finance policies and client-specific requirements.
Support audit and review activities through accurate documentation and timely responses.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Good years of experience in FP&A, client finance, or project accounting roles.
Experience managing POs, accruals, and financial reconciliations in a service or technology setup
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial/ERP systems.
Understanding of budgeting, accruals, and revenue recognition concepts.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Experience in client-facing or project-based financial environments.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Familiarity with automation or AI tools used in financial management is an advantage.
