Position: Assistant Manager - Business Controls

Role Purpose:

  • The candidate will evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of risk management, controls, and governance processes through internal audits and data-driven insights. Responsibilities include identifying control gaps, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and recommending improvements. The role requires frequent travel across the country, including extended stays. We seek a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong data analysis skills to proactively detect risks and inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze data using Excel, Power BI, and SQL to uncover trends and control gaps.
  • Deliver clear audit reports with actionable insights.
  • Track implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Partner with departments to enhance processes and controls.
  • Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Contribute to the design of audit programs and procedures.
  • Support external audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Stay current with auditing standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Professional certification: CA qualified.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an audit firm or audit department in a manufacturing company.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks.
  • Knowledge of risk management and corporate governance.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, data analysis, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • High level of integrity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools.
