Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership

  • Manage and oversee a team of approximately 10 resources across multiple sub-teams
  • Drive performance management, career development, and employee engagement activities
  • Conduct coaching, mentoring, and training to upskill team members
  • Define and monitor performance objectives for team members on a regular basis
  • Ensure succession planning for key roles within the team
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture

Accounts Payable Operations

  • Review and approve Accounts Payable transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Oversee due diligence processes and ensure timely release of payments
  • Ensure prioritization of urgent payment requests and adherence to turnaround times
  • Monitor and ensure SLA compliance across all AP activities
  • Manage AP process transitions, ad-hoc projects, and operational escalations

Compliance & Audit Management

  • Ensure 100% compliance with RICS and ISAE guidelines with zero exceptions
  • Regulate internal controls and proactively address process gaps
  • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits with zero findings
  • Maintain confidentiality and adherence to client service standards

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Participate in governance meetings and stakeholder discussions
  • Communicate clearly and influence stakeholders for effective outcomes
  • Collaborate with other managers and teams to ensure seamless operations

Process Improvement & Efficiency

  • Drive process standardization across teams
  • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies and escalation points proactively
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Improve KPIs such as cycle time, payment accuracy, and exception rates
  • Deliver measurable efficiency gains and control improvements

Reporting & MIS Management

  • Develop and maintain strong Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Track KPIs including productivity, quality, turnaround time, and payment metrics
  • Ensure timely and accurate management reporting as per agreed timelines
  • Monitor and reduce exception rates through structured analysis

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs across teams and conduct training sessions
  • Ensure continuous skill development across technical, domain, and soft skills
  • Promote learning culture within the team

Operational Control & Risk Management

  • Strengthen process controls and reduce operational risks
  • Monitor exceptions and implement preventive measures
  • Ensure financial accuracy and compliance in all AP processes
