Job Summary:
The Area Sales Person (ASP) will be responsible for driving sales of IT hardware products including desktops, laptops, and workstations from leading brands such as HP, Acer, and Dell. The role focuses on B2B, government (GeM), institutional, and channel sales within the Varanasi region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for HP, Acer, and Dell products
- Develop and expand dealer/distributor network in the assigned territory
- Identify opportunities in government departments, educational institutions, and corporate clients
- Handle sales through platforms like GeM Portal
- Conduct product presentations and demos for desktops, laptops, and IT solutions
- Generate new leads and convert them into business
- Maintain strong relationships with channel partners and key accounts
- Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies
- Coordinate with OEMs and distributors for pricing, stock availability, and order processing
- Ensure timely payment collection and follow-ups
- Submit daily visit reports (DVR) and sales reports
Product Knowledge Requirements:
- Desktop & Laptop configurations
- Commercial vs consumer product lines of HP, Acer, Dell
- Basic networking and IT infrastructure understanding
- Warranty, AMC, and service support structure
Required Skills:
- Strong B2B and channel sales experience
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Good knowledge of local market
- Ability to work on targets and pressure
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and CRM tools
Qualifications:
- Graduate (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
- 1–5 years experience in IT hardware sales (preferred)
- Experience in government/GEM sales will be an advantage

Compensation:
- Fixed Salary + Attractive Incentives

Additional Requirements:
- Must have own two-wheeler and valid driving license
- Willing to travel extensively within the region
- Existing dealer or institutional network will be a strong advantage
