Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager for LAP (Loan Against Property) in the Raipur Housing & SME (H&S) sector is responsible for driving sales, managing a team, and achieving revenue targets within the assigned geographical area. This role focuses on expanding the company's LAP portfolio by building strong client relationships and executing effective sales strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed LAP sales targets for the Raipur H&S market.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to maximize their performance and ensure consistent achievement of individual and team goals.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the designated area, including engaging with builders, real estate agents, direct selling agents (DSAs), and other potential referral sources.
- Manage existing client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Oversee the entire loan application process, from lead generation and initial assessment to documentation, sanction, and disbursement, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews to senior management.
- Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal teams to ensure seamless customer service and efficient processing.
- Ensure adherence to all ethical standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies in all sales activities.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a team leading or managerial role, specifically within the financial services industry focusing on Loan Against Property (LAP) or similar secured lending products.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of the Raipur real estate market and local business landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software.
- Thorough knowledge of lending products, credit policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
