Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager for LAP (Loan Against Property) will be responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets within the Madurai H&S (Home & Small Business) region. This role involves leading and motivating a sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong client relationships to maximize market share and profitability in the LAP segment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed LAP sales targets in the Madurai H&S region.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales executives, ensuring their continuous development and high performance.
- Identify and penetrate new market segments and client bases for LAP products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, real estate agents, direct selling agents (DSAs), and other relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular market analysis to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to LAP sales.
- Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal departments to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
- Organize and participate in promotional activities, events, and campaigns to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints or issues effectively and promptly.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role within the financial services industry, specifically with LAP products.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of the LAP market, product offerings, and regulatory landscape in the Madurai region.
- Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and formulate effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Tamil and English is essential.
- Ability to travel extensively within the Madurai H&S region as required.
