Role Summary
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing dealer networks, and ensuring market penetration within the assigned territory. The role requires strong ownership of revenue targets, channel management, and local marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive sales volume and revenue targets for the assigned region
· Manage and expand the dealer network, ensuring network sufficiency
· Oversee channel performance and dealer sales team productivity
· Execute local marketing and digital activation initiatives
· Monitor and improve customer experience (NPS)
· Conduct market intelligence & competitor analysis
· Ensure effective dealership management and query resolution
· Lead sales training and capability development for channel partners
· Drive network development and expansion strategies
· Handle negotiation and conflict resolution with dealers
· Manage manpower planning and performance (high priority)
· Ensure adherence to sales processes and continuous improvement
· Deliver results with speed while meeting customer expectations
