Role Description

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand market presence and achieve sales targets in the designated region. This full-time, remote role entails building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, providing tailored solutions, and overseeing end-to-end sales processes. Additional responsibilities include monitoring market trends, providing feedback for product development, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring customer satisfaction with excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, with a proven track record in achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for client relationship management.
  • Knowledge of the agriculture industry, particularly in protected farming or smart farming solutions, is highly desirable.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail for market analysis and decision-making.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to diverse challenges and responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional experience will also be considered.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region as required.
