Job Title: Head NBFC Business
Location: Mumbai
Reporting To: Board of Directors / Management
Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned financial services leader to spearhead our NBFC's strategy, growth, and governance. The ideal candidate will drive lending and borrowing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen risk frameworks, and build a high-performance organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap aligned with group objectives.
- Lead innovation across lending products, borrowing strategies, and customer acquisition.
- Scale business lines including retail lending, corporate loans, gold loans, LAP, and digital lending.
- Build partnerships with banks, fintechs, and financial institutions.
- Ensure full compliance with RBI/SEBI regulations and manage regulator/auditor interactions.
- Own P&L, drive profitability, and strengthen credit, risk, and underwriting frameworks.
- Oversee treasury, ALM, funding, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability and customer centricity.
Requirements
- CA/MBA/CFA or equivalent qualification.
- 10+ years of NBFC experience with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in scaling lending businesses.
- Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, credit, risk, treasury, and digital lending.
- Exceptional strategic, stakeholder management, and change-leadership capabilities.
