The Indirect Taxation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire indirect tax lifecycle—from factory-level operations to statutory filings and litigation management. This role focuses on ensuring GST and Customs compliance, optimizing Input Tax Credit (ITC), and managing tax-efficient supply chain logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end filing of monthly and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9/9C) and oversee E-way bill/E-invoicing compliance.
- Execute rigorous reconciliations of GSTR-2A/2B with purchase registers to ensure zero leakage of Input Tax Credit.
- Manage tax implications for Job Work, inter-state stock transfers, and Inverted Duty Structure refund applications.
- Oversee import/export documentation and leverage duty-saving schemes such as EPCG, Advance Authorization, and RoDTEP.
Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 10+ years in indirect taxation, specifically within the manufacturing or infrastructure sectors.
- Deep knowledge of the GST Act, Customs Act, and Foreign Trade Policy.
