Job Description

The Railway Infrastructure Division requires the services of a qualified and experienced Architect to support architectural design, planning, and master planning activities for railway infrastructure projects. The selected professional will be responsible for delivering functional, sustainable, and aesthetically appropriate architectural solutions in compliance with applicable railway standards and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design, planning, and master planning activities for railway infrastructure projects, including stations, terminals, buildings, and associated facilities.
  • Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, construction documents, master plans, 3D models, and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams comprising civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers to ensure integrated and practical design solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, railway standards, safety norms, accessibility requirements, and statutory regulations.
  • Develop innovative architectural concepts aligned with project objectives, operational requirements, and client expectations.
  • Prepare design reports, technical documentation, design briefs, and submissions for approvals from concerned authorities and stakeholders.
  • Support project teams during tendering, construction, and coordination stages as required.

  • Qualification & Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture from a recognized institution.
    • Minimum38 years of professional experiencein architectural design, preferably inrailway infrastructure, transportation projects, or large-scale public infrastructure developments.
    • Proficiency in architectural design and drafting software such asAutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Strong understanding of building regulations, railway norms, urban planning principles, and sustainable design practices.
    • Excellent skills in visualization, conceptual design, technical detailing, and presentations.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments, adhere to project timelines, and perform efficiently in a dynamic project environment.
