We are looking for an experienced Application Operations Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The role focuses on supporting highavailability applications across distributed systems, web services, and batch processing environments. You will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure application stability, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview

As an AppOps Engineer, you will handle production support, troubleshoot complex issues across multitier systems, enhance monitoring, participate in oncall rotations, and contribute to automation initiatives. The role requires handson experience with Linux/Unix or Windows platforms and strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support production and nonproduction applications across Linux/Unix or Windows environments.
• Troubleshoot issues across distributed systems, APIs, web services, and batch/transaction processing.
• Participate in a 24x7 oncall rotation to manage escalations effectively.
• Improve monitoring through dashboards, alerts, and health checks.
• Automate operational tasks including deployments, validation, and alert remediation.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure production readiness.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to stability improvements.
