Job title: Application support specialist

Location: Murugappa Road, Kotturpuram, Chennai (BCP Office)

Interview Mode: Face-to-Face Drive in Chennai (22, 23, 24 Dec 2025)

Open Roles & Budget

  • Senior Support Analyst (36 Years): Up to 12 LPA (10% Variable)
  • Manager (610 Years): Up to 18 LPA (10% Variable)
  • Senior Manager (10+ Years): Up to 28 LPA (20% Variable)

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for L2/L3 production support of Java-based 3-tier applications running on Linux/Unix environments in a high-performance capital markets / BFSI setup. The role involves application stability, incident management, deployments, monitoring, and close collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot Java-based applications on Linux/Unix OS
  • Strong understanding of Linux OS concepts and inter-process communication
  • Work with real-time messaging technologies (TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast)
  • Handle deployments, releases, and migration activities
  • Perform SQL / PLSQL queries and database troubleshooting
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation
  • Monitor applications using enterprise monitoring tools (ITRS preferred)
  • Manage Incidents, Problems & Changes as per ITIL processes
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, SOPs, and documentation

Required Skills

  • Linux / Unix (hands-on)
  • Shell Scripting
  • Java / C (support level)
  • SQL & PLSQL, RDBMS concepts
  • ITIL framework & tools (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Application Monitoring tools (ITRS or similar)
