Application Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Collibra Data Governance to configure, administer, and enhance the Collibra platform. The role involves supporting metadata onboarding, workflow development, integration with enterprise systems, and ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance standards.

The ideal candidate will act as a software detective, identifying and resolving issues across multiple components of critical business systems while maintaining platform stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the Collibra Data Governance platform.
• Configure and develop Collibra workflows for governance automation.
• Support metadata onboarding, ingestion, and cataloging processes.
• Develop workflow automation using Java/Groovy scripting.
• Configure domains, assets, communities, and governance structures in Collibra.
• Integrate Collibra with enterprise systems and data sources using APIs.
• Implement enhancements aligned with enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Build automation for data catalog operations, onboarding, and classification.
• Ensure platform stability, performance, and compliance with governance policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the data governance ecosystem.

Required Skills

• Collibra Data Governance administration
• Experience with Collibra REST APIs
• Workflow configuration and development in Collibra
• Java/Groovy scripting for workflow automation
• Metadata modeling and data governance concepts
• Knowledge of data lineage and data catalog integrations
