TCS is Hiring - Android Developer
Experience : 5 to 10 years
Location : Pune
- Mobile development experience with high expertise in Android platform
- 2 years + hands-on experience with Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and FCM.
- A talent for benchmarking and optimization
- Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge in Git, Team city, JIRA, or any other CI/CD tools be add-on.
- Knowledge in Compose.
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
- Design, code, analyze, and test systems for Android applications.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Communicate with a team of developers, designers, project managers, and other personnel to ship new features.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
