Role Overview
We are seeking a
talented Android Developer to design, develop, and deliver high-performance
native Android applications for phones, tablets, and enterprise devices. This role requires deep expertise in
Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and modern architecture patterns like
MVVM.
You will collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend teams, and QA to build scalable mobile solutions that integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems used by leading Indian organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop native Android applications supporting multiple device types and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality mobile solutions.
- Define application architecture, user workflows, and system integration interfaces.
- Create and execute comprehensive unit test plans across multiple projects.
- Optimize testing processes, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows.
- Perform system analysis, define data flows, and integrate with internal/external APIs.
- Debug complex issues and ensure project delivery timelines are met.
- Conduct code reviews, participate in agile ceremonies, and mentor junior developers.
- Profile and optimize app performance using Android SDK tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 48 years of hands-on Android development experience with production apps.
- Expertise in Kotlin and/or Java with deep Android SDK knowledge.
- Strong experience with MVVM architecture, data structures, and OOP principles.
- Proficiency in Android performance profiling (Profiler, Systrace, Layout Inspector).
- Hands-on experience with unit testing (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito) and API integration (Retrofit).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and modern DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with cross-platform development (Android + Flutter/React Native).
- Knowledge of modern Android (Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Hilt/Dagger).
- Familiarity with architecture components (Room, ViewModel, Navigation).
- Exposure to cloud services (Firebase, AWS Amplify) and enterprise security.
- Experience building apps for BFSI, healthcare, or e-commerce domains.
- Understanding of UPI payment integration and Indian regulatory compliance.
