Analyst / Developer Python, Flask, AWS, MySQL

Applix is looking for an experienced Analyst / Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and backend systems.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on with Python, Flask API development, AWS, and MySQL, and can work independently while collaborating with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain web applications and backend services.
• Develop and maintain APIs using Python and Flask.
• Work with MySQL databases, including queries, schema updates, and performance considerations.
• Deploy, support, and troubleshoot applications on AWS.
• Identify and resolve issues found through testing, user feedback, or production support.
• Review and validate code to ensure quality, maintainability, and compatibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable software solutions.
• Support ongoing enhancements, bug fixes, and application maintenance.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience building APIs using Flask.
• Working knowledge of AWS services.
• Strong experience with MySQL / SQL.
• Understanding of web application development and backend architecture.
• Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or frontend integration.
• Exposure to cloud deployments, CI/CD, or DevOps workflows.

Nice To Have

• Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.
