Senior/Lead Software Engineer – AWS Serverless
We are looking to onboard a Senior/Lead Software Engineer to support ongoing project delivery and take ownership of applications primarily built on AWS Serverless architecture. The role requires strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, Cognito, IAM, VPC, Secrets Manager, along with Node.js, Serverless Framework, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and AWS CLI.
The candidate should be able to work independently, quickly understand the existing project landscape, and contribute to development, enhancements, deployments, troubleshooting, and production support activities. The role also involves supporting integration projects that may use Java, .NET, or Python, so the candidate should have a strong learning mindset and flexibility to work across technologies as needed.
The projects are managed using Agile/Scrum methodology, and the candidate must be comfortable participating in Scrum ceremonies, providing estimates, tracking deliverables, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Direct client interaction is required, including requirement discussions, technical clarifications, status updates, demos, and issue resolution.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, ownership mindset, problem-solving ability, and confidence to work with minimal supervision. They should also be willing to support critical deliverables, releases, or production issues outside regular hours when required. Prior experience in the Insurance domain will be considered an added advantage.
