Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Python & AWS Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and manage scalable, cloud-native applications and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, AWS services, and data pipeline engineering, along with experience in building reliable, high-performance systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance applications using Python.
- Build and manage cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as AWS Lambda, EC2, Fargate, S3, RDS/Aurora, ALB, and EventBridge.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and integrations across multiple enterprise systems.
- Work with Data Cloud platforms (Salesforce Data Cloud / AWS Data Services) for data ingestion, transformation, and synchronization.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability in a distributed environment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and uptime.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming expertise in Python, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services across:
- Compute: Lambda, EC2, Fargate
- Storage/Database: S3, RDS/Aurora
- Networking: Application Load Balancer (ALB), VPC
- Integration/Messaging: EventBridge, SQS, SNS
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and system integrations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or CRM integrations.
- Knowledge of cross-cloud data synchronization (e.g., Salesforce ↔ AWS).
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and AWS ECS.
- Exposure to big data platforms such as Snowflake.
