Job Title: Admission CounsellorJob Summary

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing accurate information about academic programs, and converting qualified leads into enrollments. The role involves student counselling, relationship management, follow-ups, and coordination with internal teams to achieve admission targets while maintaining high service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Lead Conversion

  • Counsel prospective students and parents on programs, eligibility, career outcomes, and admission procedures.
  • Handle inquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, website leads, and social media.
  • Assess student profiles and recommend suitable programs based on academic background and career goals.
  • Convert leads into confirmed admissions through effective follow-ups and counselling.

Admissions Process Management

  • Guide applicants through application submission, documentation, entrance tests, interviews, and fee payment.
  • Verify student documents and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate student records in CRM / admission management systems.

Target Achievement & Reporting

  • Meet individual and team admission targets on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Prepare daily/weekly admission reports, lead status updates, and conversion analysis.

Coordination & Student Experience

  • Coordinate with academic, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of students.
  • Provide pre- and post-admission support to ensure a positive student experience.
  • Address student and parent queries promptly and professionally.
