Job Summary

The Admission Counselor – Online MBA will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, counseling them on program details, and supporting them from inquiry to successful admission. The role requires strong communication skills, student-centric counseling, and the ability to meet enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel prospective students on the Online MBA program, eligibility criteria, curriculum, fees, and career outcomes

Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats related to admissions

Convert leads into enrollments through effective counseling and follow-ups

Understand student needs and recommend the right specialization or program fit

Maintain accurate student data in CRM systems

Achieve monthly/quarterly enrollment targets

Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, academics, operations) for smooth admissions

Explain payment options, EMI plans, scholarships, and documentation

Provide post-admission support until onboarding is completed

Participate in webinars, virtual events, and counseling sessions

Strong counseling, persuasion, and negotiation abilities

Ability to build trust and rapport with working professionals

Familiarity with online education, LMS platforms, and CRM tools

Good listening and problem-solving skills

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)

Prior experience in online MBA admissions, academic counseling, or EdTech sales is an advantage
