As an Admission Counsellor, you will be a key point of contact for prospective students and working professionals, guiding them toward the right certification or degree program. This is a target-driven, individual contributor role where your primary goal is to convert leads into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound, inbound, and online admissions through calls, emails, and chats.
  • Convert leads into enrollments for certifications, executive education, and online MBA programs.
  • Counsel and educate prospective students about available programs based on their career goals, domain, and interests.
  • Make 100–150 calls daily to engage leads and ensure follow-ups for lead nurturing and conversion.
  • Generate referrals through existing students and alumni.
  • Ensure timely achievement of weekly/monthly admission targets.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions, leads, and conversions in CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and academic teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

Must-Haves:

  • 0–4 years of experience in education counselling, edtech sales, or inside sales.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication in English.
  • Proven skills in sales pitching, objection handling, and creating urgency.
  • Ability to listen actively, understand customer needs, and provide personalized counselling.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, Excel, and lead management systems.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of executive education, online MBAs, or tech certifications.
  • Background in EdTech or similar fast-paced sales environment.
