We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Admission Counselor who will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate program information, and converting leads into enrollments. The role requires strong communication skills, a sales mindset, and the ability to build relationships with students and parents.
The Core Responsibilities For The Job Include The Following
Student Counseling and Conversion:
- Counsel prospective students via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs.
- Follow up on leads and convert them into admissions.
- Maintain a high conversion ratio and achieve enrollment targets.
Lead Management
- Handle inbound and outbound leads effectively.
- Maintain accurate data in CRM systems.
- Track and manage the complete admission funnel.
Admission Process Handling
- Guide students through the application, documentation, and enrollment process.
- Ensure timely submission of forms and fees.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Address queries related to courses, fees, career prospects, etc.
- Provide a positive counseling experience.
KPIs / Performance Metrics
- Number of calls / follow-ups per day.
- Lead-to-admission conversion rate.
- Revenue / enrollment targets.
- Student satisfaction score.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1-4 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or inside sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
