Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Admission Counselor who will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate program information, and converting leads into enrollments. The role requires strong communication skills, a sales mindset, and the ability to build relationships with students and parents.

The Core Responsibilities For The Job Include The Following

Student Counseling and Conversion:

  • Counsel prospective students via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into admissions.
  • Maintain a high conversion ratio and achieve enrollment targets.

Lead Management

  • Handle inbound and outbound leads effectively.
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM systems.
  • Track and manage the complete admission funnel.

Admission Process Handling

  • Guide students through the application, documentation, and enrollment process.
  • Ensure timely submission of forms and fees.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with students and parents.
  • Address queries related to courses, fees, career prospects, etc.
  • Provide a positive counseling experience.

KPIs / Performance Metrics

  • Number of calls / follow-ups per day.
  • Lead-to-admission conversion rate.
  • Revenue / enrollment targets.
  • Student satisfaction score.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 1-4 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or inside sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong convincing and negotiation abilities.
  • Target-oriented and self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the EdTech / Education industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools
