Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate (Commerce background preferred)

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive – Accounts Payable with hands-on experience in end-to-end AP operations and strong knowledge of Indian taxation, specifically GST and TDS related to vendor payments. The role involves managing vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing activities while ensuring statutory and internal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end Accounts Payable processes
• Verify, account, and process vendor invoices in line with company policies
• Ensure GST compliance for AP transactions, including validation of GST invoices, tax components, and reconciliation
• Manage TDS accounting and compliance, including deduction, accounting, and support for TDS returns
• Process vendor payments and perform payment application
• Perform bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct vendor ledger scrutiny and periodic reconciliations
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice and payment-related queries
• Support month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and internal controls

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable concepts and processes
• Practical working knowledge of GST and TDS (AP-related)
• Experience in bank reconciliation and payment processing
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Zoho / Quick books/ ERP preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• High attention to detail with good analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable
• Commerce graduate/post-graduate (B.Com / M.Com or equivalent)
• Experience working in a corporate or professional accounting environment
• Good communication and coordination skills
