Functional Role (Job Description)
Finance Director will be a part of Global Business Shared Services team in NTT DATA. The primary responsibility is support Finance Operations in Global environment with knowledge & expertise required to manage work in a MNC. The role also encompasses the responsibility of response to internal / external queries. He/she will be required to support Finance operations or any other adhoc Finance projects / assignments.

Education Background
Post Graduate (M.Com / MBA Finance)
CA / ICWA + Knowledge/ understanding of US GAAP, I-GAAP & IFRS
Work Experience
16-18 years of relevant experience in Finance
12+ years of experience with at least 4-6 years in a senior level position with similar role in a large multinational corporation
Key Responsibilities
Key Skills
- Acts as liaison between Onshore and Shared Services team in the resolution of process related issues
- Ability to manage the daily operations and activities of the team and ensure all KRAs are met.
- Effectively communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Analyze and resolve complex or difficult problems presented by subordinates, and escalate appropriately to the senior management
- Understanding of Transfer pricing/intercompany invoicing regulations
- Understanding of Semi-annual and Annual Financial Statements
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Ability to manage HR related matters for the direct reports and teams; including interviewing, hiring, compensation planning, ongoing feedback/coaching and formal performance management (e.g., mid-year and year-end reviews)
Operational Skills
- Should have worked for multi-national companies in a multi-cultural environment.
- Communication skills with various stakeholders including the top management
- Analyze common processing mistakes (internal & external), do root cause analysis and assist in the development of training materials and delivery of presentations
- Take the lead in maintaining existing successful teaming environment, identifying and recognizing team efforts, and promoting activities that build rapport within the team.
- Manage Escalations, identify root cause and come up process improvement and put controls in place.
