Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Mumbai. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate financial documentation. Daily tasks include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, managing expense reports, reconciling bank statements, preparing budgets, handling tax filings, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role also involves collaborating with internal departments to streamline financial processes.

Qualifications

• Accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in financial reporting and budget preparation
• Understanding of tax regulations, financial compliance, and audit preparation
• Expertise in using accounting software and familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA or equivalent certification preferred
• Relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors is a plus
