Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Kolkata. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations. Daily tasks include preparing payment charts, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, and analyzing financial data to provide actionable insights. The role also involves collaborating with team members to improve financial processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in financial audits, tax preparation, and compliance
• Experience with financial software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools
• Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget preparation
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
• Prior experience in accounting roles, preferably in the marketing or talent management sector, is advantageous
