Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant at our Kolkata office. The Senior Accountant will handle day-to-day financial tasks such as preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, maintaining general ledger accounts, managing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The role also involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, preparing reports for management, and collaborating with auditors.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting
• Strong skills in General Ledger Maintenance, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
• Knowledge of Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and Advanced Excel Skills
• Attention to Detail, Strong Analytical Skills, and Problem-Solving Abilities
• Experience leading or mentoring a team is an advantage
• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent qualification required
• Prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or retail industry preferred
