About the Company
We are a fast-growing US-based organization seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our remote finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain international accounting exposure and build a strong foundation in finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily accounting operations including journal entries and ledger maintenance
- Maintain and update financial records accurately
- Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in monthly closing activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Coordinate with internal teams for financial data and documentation
- Assist in audit preparation and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com preferred)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to work in US time zones
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Eagerness to learn and grow in an international work environment
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Internship or academic project experience in accounting/finance
- Understanding of US GAAP (basic level)
