Role: Accountant Financial Operations

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly sharp, detail-oriented, and fast-learning Accountant to manage end-to-end financial operations for a US-based financial services firm.
This is a high ownership role you will be expected to handle accounting independently, maintain accuracy, and support leadership with clear financial visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting (AP/AR, reconciliations, general ledger)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and audit requirements
- Handle payroll accounting, expense tracking, and documentation
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist in tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date financial records

Requirements
- 25 years of accounting / finance experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP / financial reporting
- Experience with tools like QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
Preferred
- CPA / CA / ACCA (or pursuing)
- Experience working with US-based clients or firms
- Background in financial services / consulting firms
