Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive to drive sales execution and revenue growth for our Oracle Offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for owning assigned accounts and opportunities, driving sales strategies through execution, and ensuring consistent achievement of financial targets through strong customer engagement and deal conversion.
Job Location– Pune
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account & Market Understanding
- Develop a strong understanding of customer accounts, industry landscapes, and trends relevant to our Oracle offerings.
- Monitor market and account‑specific factors that influence buying decisions, budgets, and strategic priorities.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing and prospective accounts in target markets.
- Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales and closure pipeline across assigned accounts.
2. Value Strategy and Sales Planning
- Communicate the value proposition of our Oracle solutions effectively through proposals, presentations, and client engagements.
- Clearly articulate differentiation, positioning, and business value of our products and services.
- Develop and execute account‑level sales plans aligned to territory and revenue goals.
- Define sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to drive pipeline progression and deal closure.
- Ensure disciplined execution of sales plans to achieve and exceed financial targets.
3. Sales Execution & Account Ownership
- Own and deliver annual sales targets across assigned accounts and territories.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through negotiation and closure.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Engage closely with clients to understand business needs, priorities, and objectives, positioning solutions accordingly.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless handover from sales to delivery and long‑term account success.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or Sales Executive, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets, especially in annuity‑based deals.
- Strong understanding of the Oracle ecosystem, products, and enterprise solution selling.
- Prior experience in sales execution, account management, or client‑facing sales roles with international market exposure.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively across all levels, including executive and C‑level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the sales process from planning through closure.
- Experience developing client‑focused, differentiated, and commercially viable solutions.
- Familiarity with conversational AI and AI tools is an advantage.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High personal integrity, attention to detail, and customer focus.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficient in using modern CRM tools to manage pipeline, accounts, and sales activities effectively.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
- Master's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
- Mandatory experience working within the Oracle ecosystem.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in international sales and account management.
- Prior experience in business development or sales roles, with a strong focus on closing and revenue ownership.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional sales, pre‑sales, and delivery teams.
