Job Description :
Thorough knowledge of marine insurance and liability insurance, all general insurance with expertise in terms of policy terms, coverage, and risk management.
Compile necessary data for the annual renewal process & during the year renewals of all corporate insurance, ensuring all required information is collected and reviewed with comparison report for current v/s required coverage
Process payments for insurance premiums within stipulated timelines & maintaining a cash deposit ledger, ensuring detailed scrutiny of transactions for accuracy and compliance.
Update and maintain an effective insurance Management Information System (MIS)
Liaise with brokers and direct insurers to obtain competitive quotes for renewal or new policies.
Verify the details of renewed policies to ensure they align with agreed terms & prepare and present reports summarizing key information and updates on renewed policies.
Co-ordination with the insurance company and internal departments to ensure timely submission of claims and accurate documentation of required information with Claim MIS
Validate manual bill submissions (FB60 & required JV in SAP) against the respective insurance policies and coverage terms & Marine claims receivable & receipts entries
Follow up with insurance companies and brokers for pending policies, endorsements, or any policy updates.
Any other work assigned by seniors as per the requirements
