Our Sales Leads (counsellors) have physically visited 700+ medical colleges, understand real cut-offs, clinical exposure, infrastructure quality, and regulatory nuances (NMC, AIQ, State, Mop-Up, Stray). We guide families end-to-endfrom pre-score strategy to final seat allotment and college joining.
The Sales Lead (Counsellor) is the core decision-maker and revenue driver at Medipedia. This role owns the SQL Proposal Registration Admission success journey. Sales Leads (Counsellors) are expected to bring authority, trust, and deep technical clarity into conversations with anxious parents and aspirants.
This is not a call-center role. It requires expert-level understanding of NEET counselling mechanics, college selection logic, risk mitigation, and parent psychology. A successful counsellor becomes the single source of truth for the family throughout the admission cycle.
1.Conduct 1:1 counselling sessions (video / in-person / phone) with parents and students
2.Deeply diagnose student profile: score, rank, category, domicile, budget, preferences
3.Convert MQLs into SQLs through high-trust, high-authority counselling
4.Clearly explain Medipedia's counselling process and value proposition
5.Recommend the most realistic and optimal colleges based on cut-offs and constraints
6.Provide India + Abroad options with complete transparency
7.Guide families on exact forms to be filled (AIQ, State, Deemed, Abroad, etc.)
8.Explain counselling rounds: Round 14, Mop-Up, Stray, risk scenarios
9.Address fears related to money loss, seat loss, wrong college, or fraud
10.Drive proposal discussions and move families toward registration
11.Close registrations ethically with full clarity on services and outcomes
12.Own post-registration counselling continuity and trust
13.Coordinate with operations team for form filling and documentation
14.Maintain accurate CRM notes and counselling outcomes
15.Participate in webinars, live sessions, and parent Q&A forums
16.Lead and conduct student and parent seminars to educate audiences on NEET counselling, MBBS admission pathways.
17.Stay updated on counselling notifications, Fee changesand admission timelines

1.Deep domain knowledge of NEET UG counselling (India & Abroad) if not available the person will go through rigorous 1-3 months training, mock sessions and assessment fully sponsored by the company

12.Gain practical understanding of Medical Colleges in India and Abroad , includingNeet cut-offs, MBBS budget , university selection options, and counselling rounds, and assist in resolving basic student and parent queries
1.35+ years of experience in medical counselling fieldor education field or sales in edtech firms or education domain or prior counselling or teaching experience
2.Prior experience in NEET UG admissions strongly preferred and a big plus
3.Experience with AIQ, State, Deemed, or Abroad counselling
4.Comfortable handling multiple sessions/meetings with customers
5.Strong documentation and CRM discipline
6.High ownership and accountability
7.Alignment with Medipedia's counselling-first philosophy
8.Ability to work with SDRs and Ops teams
