Role Description

We are seeking an Academic Counsellor for a full-time, on-site role at our Kozhikode location. The Academic Counsellor will guide students in their academic and career journeys by providing advice on program selection, skill development opportunities, and career pathways in the cybersecurity field. Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing students needs and goals, and recommending suitable programs. The role also involves coordinating with other departments for academic support, maintaining records of student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
• Proficiency in Academic Advising and knowledge of educational pathways
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively connect with a diverse community of students
• Understanding of the education sector and willingness to stay updated with the latest trends in cybersecurity education
• Organizational and interpersonal skills to manage student records and build relationships
• A bachelor's degree in any stream
• Previous experience in a counseling or academic advisory role is a plus
