Job Description †Zonal Sales Manager (Corporate Leasing & Car Finance) Position Overview:

The Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) will be responsible for driving business growth in the assigned zone by managing corporate leasing and car finance sales. The role involves developing new corporate relationships, managing key accounts, ensuring achievement of sales and revenue targets, and leading a team of sales managers/relationship managers across the region.

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive sales of corporate car leasing and car finance products in the assigned zone.
  • Develop and implement zonal business plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and onboard new corporate clients, fleet operators, and channel partners.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell financial products to maximize wallet share.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Regional/Area Sales Managers and Relationship Managers.
  • Ensure productivity, performance, and capability development of the sales team.
  • Conduct regular reviews, training, and mentoring to improve sales effectiveness.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, dealers, OEMs, and NBFC/banking partners.
  • Act as the escalation point for key clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.

Operational & Financial Management:

  • Ensure achievement of sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability for the zone.
  • Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency, and credit risk in coordination with risk & collections teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal processes, and audit requirements.
  • Provide regular MIS, forecasts, and reports to senior management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of car finance, leasing, fleet management, and auto industry trends.
  • Proven track record in corporate sales, channel management, and large deal closures.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, financial acumen, and risk management understanding.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
