Job Description

Job Title: Zonal Business Head – Sales

Zone: West

CTC: ₹12–18 LPA

Reporting To: VP – Sales

Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Zonal Business Head to drive sales performance across the West zone. The role focuses on managing key industrial accounts, building strong customer relationships, and delivering consistent revenue growth.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing leadership role involving sales execution, team management, and application-based selling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue & Business Growth

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Drive growth through key accounts and new customer acquisition
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Maintain healthy profit margins

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with plant, procurement, and engineering teams
  • Ensure regular customer visits and engagement
  • Drive repeat business and customer retention
  • Understand customer needs and suggest suitable solutions

3. Team Management

  • Lead and manage Area Sales Executives
  • Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure CRM discipline
  • Coach team on sales, follow-ups, and product knowledge

4. Technical & Application Understanding

  • Understand basic filtration concepts (training will be provided)
  • Coordinate with technical team for trials and solutions
  • Support technical discussions and product presentations

5. Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with production, dispatch, and logistics teams
  • Forecast demand and track orders, collections, and stock
  • Ensure smooth execution and timely deliveries

6. Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain CRM and submit regular sales reports
  • Track pipeline, forecasts, and customer status

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in B2B industrial sales
  • Experience in sectors like Pharma, Chemicals, Water Treatment, or Industrial Products preferred
  • Strong experience in handling key accounts and team management
  • Good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Comfortable with field sales and travel

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage

Preferred Skills

  • Strong customer handling and follow-up skills
  • Team leadership and performance management
  • Basic technical understanding (trainable)
  • CRM/ERP and MS Office proficiency
