Role Summary
The Zonal Head – Business and Operations will be responsible for establishing and scaling DropX Logistics presence in North India. This is a 0–1 leadership role involving end-to-end ownership of business development, operations setup, and P&L for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and expand DropX's business in North India from the ground up
- Identify, acquire, and manage new clients across e-commerce and quick commerce
- Set up and scale last-mile delivery and quick commerce operations
- Build teams from 0–1, including Regional and Cluster leadership
- Own full zone-level P&L, including revenue, cost per shipment, and manpower costs
- Establish operational processes, vendor networks, and local partnerships
- Drive performance across stations and sites to meet client SLAs
- Handle client relationships, negotiations, and escalations
Candidate Profile
- 5–12 years of experience in last-mile logistics, e-commerce, or quick commerce operations
- Proven experience managing multi-city or multi-state operations
- Strong understanding of P&L management and cost optimization
- Experience in quick commerce (dark stores, hyperlocal delivery) is required
- Prior experience managing Amazon EDSP last-mile operations will be preferred
- Strong leadership, execution, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across North India
