THE ROLE
As a YouTube Video Editor, you'll work directly with the creator (Fortune 100 leader, author, and entrepreneur) to edit talking-head educational videos, motion-graphic explainers. Each video is expected to be 15 minutes and up to 4 videos edited per month.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit long-form and short-form videos with clarity, engagement, and strong narrative flow
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, charts, and supporting visuals
- Apply modern YouTube storytelling fundamentals hooks, pacing, retention cues
- Deliver clean, polished edits with strong timing, typography, color, and sound
- Work within an Storyboard and Edit Blueprint workflow for consistency
- Iterate based on feedback and performance data
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years editing for YouTube first platforms
- Strong Premiere Pro skills; After Effects is essential
- Ability to elevate talking-head content with pacing, graphics, and story
- Experience creating high-retention long-form and short-form content
- Understanding of YouTube analytics, hooks, retention, titles, and thumbnails
- Organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
- Fluent in English and excellent communication skills

COMPENSATION
50,000 60,000 per month
