Key Responsibilities:Editing Long-Form Content:
- Edit high-quality, engaging, long-form YouTube videos that align with the channel's style and tone.
- Ensure seamless transitions, captivating visuals, and polished final outputs.
Collaboration:
- Work directly with the creator (Peepoye) and content producers to bring the creative vision to life.
- Participate in regular calls to discuss content strategies and video feedback.
Efficiency:
- Deliver projects within tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Utilize a high-configuration machine for smooth rendering and processing of video files.
Technical Expertise:
- Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and color grading as needed.
- Optimize videos for platform-specific requirements (YouTube).
Performance Metrics:
- Monitor video performance and incorporate feedback to improve engagement and retention.
- Participate in the incentive structure tied to productivity and outcome metrics (e.g., views, watch time).
Qualifications and Skills:Experience:
- 2-4 years of proven experience in video editing for YouTube creators or similar content platforms.
Technical Proficiency:
- Expert knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and graphic design tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
