Role + Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites
- Familiar with popular WordPress plugins (ACF, Yoast, Contact Form 7, etc.)
- Customize themes and create custom plugins as needed
- Work closely with designers to bring mockups to life
- Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for performance
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools
- Keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress features and best practices
- Collaborate with team members across design and development
Person Specification and Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of experience working with WordPress
- Solid understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and CMS structure
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Basic experience with MySQL and cPanel/Hosting
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Ability to write clean, reusable, and efficient code
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
