Sr . WordPress Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes tailored to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to implement innovative solutions for complex website projects.
• Perform WooCommerce customizations, including integration of payment gateways, shipping methods, and product configurations.
• Utilize REST APIs to integrate third-party services and data sources into WordPress projects.
• Optimize website performance and ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of WordPress solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements and provide progress updates.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions to maintain high coding standards and scalability.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of at least 3+ of experience in WordPress development, with a focus on custom plugin and theme development.
• Extensive knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong understanding of WooCommerce functionality and experience in customizing WooCommerce stores.
• Proficiency in integrating and working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience in developing complex, high-traffic websites with WordPress.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
