Knoxx Foods is a fast-growing B2B supplier of bulk food ingredients to the food service sector across Australia. We pride ourselves on reliability, operational excellence, and getting the basics right every single day. We're now looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager who truly owns the floor and thrives in a fast-moving, professional warehouse environment.

The Role

This is not a desk-only role. You will own the floor end-to-end safeguarding stock, space, safety, and service levels while leading a small, hardworking team. You'll set the pace, jump on the high-reach forklift when needed, roll up your sleeves, and coach best practices. You'll also play a key role in coordinating multi-warehouse operations and 3PL partners, ensuring smooth execution across the network.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound handling & put-away

• Schedule and oversee container unpacking

• Verify quantities against paperwork and escalate variances

• Relocate stock to pick or bulk locations

• Coordinate inbound flows across internal warehouses and 3PL facilities

Space & layout management

• Maintain an up-to-date racking map (spreadsheet-based)

• Re-slot inventory to maximise cubic utilisation and minimise travel

• Flag capacity constraints and propose practical solutions

• Support space optimisation across multiple warehouse locations

Order preparation & dispatch

• Pick, stage, and load customer orders in route sequence

• Prepare product samples on request

• Complete dispatch paperwork and ensure on-time deliveries

• Route planning and delivery coordination

• Work closely with customers until deliveries are successfully completed

• Coordinate dispatch with 3PL partners to meet service commitments

Equipment, safety & housekeeping

• Manage fleet of trucks efficiently

• Operate and maintain counter-balance and high-reach forklifts

• Conduct daily pre-start checks

• Enforce safe stacking, aisle clearance, and PPE usage

• Lead weekly 5S housekeeping walk-throughs

• Ensure safety and compliance standards across all warehouse and 3PL sites

Hands-on team leadership

• Issue daily task lists and priorities to warehouse staff and drivers

• Demonstrate tasks personally and coach underperformers

• Never afraid to get your hands dirty

• Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Liaise closely with 3PL teams to align with Knoxx operational standards

Skills & Experience

• Current forklift licence (counter-balance and high-reach) or willingness to obtain

• 5 years experience supervising a fast-moving warehouse

• Experience managing multi-warehouse operations and 3PL providers

• Strong spreadsheet / Google Sheets capability

• Experience with Carton Cloud WMS is a big advantage

• Proven hands-on leadership and floor ownership mindset

• Food or FMCG background (highly desirable)
