Role Overview
We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who is hands-on, proactive, and takes complete
ownership of warehouse performance. You will own the cost, utilisation, and operational discipline of our warehousing, and be the person who spots issues before they become crises.

Key Responsibilities
Cost Management & AOP Adherence
Own the warehousing cost P&L and ensure monthly spend stays within the
Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Negotiate and manage third-party warehouse and logistics vendor contracts to
optimise costs.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on service
quality.
Warehouse Space Utilisation
Maximise utilisation of warehouse space through smart layout planning and
slotting.
Monitor space utilisation metrics regularly and take corrective action when
efficiency drops.
Plan for capacity needs in advance as business volumes grow.
Inventory Control & Discipline
Enforce strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) across all SKUs to prevent expiry and
product damage.
Drive timely and accurate inventory cycle counts on a defined schedule;
ensure 99%+ accuracy.
Own and actively reduce ageing inventory (>180 days), working with
commercial teams to liquidate or return slow-moving stock.
Maintain real-time inventory records and flag discrepancies immediately.
Day-to-Day Warehouse Operations
Manage end-to-end warehouse operations: inbound, storage, picking,
packing, and dispatch.
Ensure adherence to dispatch timelines and service-level commitments.
Be present on the ground visit warehouses regularly to identify and fix
operational issues first-hand.
Manage warehouse staff and vendor teams; set clear expectations and hold
them accountable.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards at all
times.
Process Improvement & Reporting
Build and maintain a dashboard of key warehouse KPIs: cost vs AOP, space
utilisation, inventory accuracy, ageing stock, and cycle count completion.
Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and commercial teams for smooth
supply flow.
Support scaling of warehouse operations as we expand to new
geographies.
Ideal Candidate
14 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or
manufacturing operations.
Graduate from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college (any discipline).
Hands-on operator willing to be on the floor, not just behind a screen.
Strong sense of ownership; self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to fix.
Comfortable working with data, Excel, and operational dashboards to track
KPIs.
Good understanding of inventory management principles including FIFO,
cycle counting, and stock ageing.
Strong communication and coordination skills; can work across functions
effectively.
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus.
