Key Responsibilities:
Finished Goods Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of finished goods by size, finish, shade, grade (Premium / Standard / Commercial), and batch.
- Ensure correct palletization, stacking, and storage to prevent breakage.
- Follow FIFO for finished goods dispatch.
- Plan and execute picking, packing, and loading based on sales orders.
- Ensure correct labeling, order-wise segregation, and documentation.
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate daily dispatch schedules with Sales and Production Planning teams.
- Coordinate with transporters, fleet operators, and freight forwarders.
- Schedule vehicle placements and track dispatch movements.
- Resolve transit issues, shortages, and delivery delays.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents, including invoices, packing lists, delivery challans, E-Way Bills, and export documents.
Compliance & Quality Management
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, SOPs, safety regulations, and statutory norms.
- Conduct pre-dispatch quality checks in coordination with QA teams.
- Ensure safe material handling practices and warehouse safety.
- Minimize customer complaints due to damage or wrong dispatch.
Reporting & Staff Supervision
- Prepare daily dispatch reports, warehouse stock summaries, and SCM MIS reports.
- Supervise warehouse staff and loaders.
- Drive continuous improvement in dispatch accuracy, turnaround time, and logistics cost.
