THE ROLE
We're looking for a Visual Designer who sits at the intersection of graphic design, motion design, and psychology of attention. You won't just make things look pretty you'll craft visual narratives that stop the scroll, spark curiosity, and drive action. You'll own the visual identity of our product marketing efforts, creating everything from static ad creatives and social media assets to animated explainers and short-form video ads.
This role demands someone who thinks in stories, understands what makes content go viral, and can execute across both still and moving mediums with speed and precision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design high-impact ad posters, banners, social media creatives, and digital campaign assets for product marketing across platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.).
Conceptualize, storyboard, and produce ad videos, product walkthroughs, animated explainers, and short-form video content (reels, stories, YouTube shorts).
Create motion graphics and visual effects to elevate video content and bring product features to life.
Develop and maintain a consistent visual language and brand system across all marketing touch-points.
Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and leadership teams to translate product value propositions into scroll-stopping visual content.
Apply principles of advertising psychology, color theory, visual hierarchy, and persuasion to maximize engagement and conversion.
Rapidly ideate, prototype, and iterate on creative concepts balancing speed with craft.
Stay ahead of design trends, platform-specific content formats, and viral content patterns to keep happierwork's brand fresh and relevant.
Manage end-to-end video production workflow including editing, color grading, sound design, and final output optimization for various platforms.

Skills & Experience:
25+ years of professional experience in visual/graphic design, motion design, or video production (agency, in-house, or freelance).
Strong portfolio demonstrating work across static design, motion graphics, and video editing.
Deep understanding of advertising psychology what triggers attention, builds desire, and drives clicks.
Proven ability to create viral or high-engagement content for digital platforms.
Strong sense of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
Experience designing for B2B / SaaS / enterprise audiences is a strong plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with quick turnaround expectations.
Self-directed with excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
AI-Powered Creative Tools (Strongly Preferred):
Experience with AI generative tools for image and video creation is very much preferred.
Candidates who have tinkered extensively with tools in this space will have a significant advantage, for example:
Midjourney / Gemini's Nano Banana Pro (OR any other AI image generator)
Veo 3.1 (OR any other AI video generator)
ComfyUI / HiggsField.ai (very much preferred)

Familiarity with Figma.
Understanding of performance marketing metrics and how creative impacts CTR, CPC, and conversion.
Experience producing content for the HR tech or enterprise SaaS space.
