Role Description The Video Editor role at Welfare Digital is a full-time remote position focused on producing high-quality video content for branding, social media, advertising, and digital campaigns. On a day-to-day basis, the Video Editor will review raw footage, select and assemble clips, edit timelines, add transitions, integrate audio, and apply color grading to achieve a consistent visual style. The role includes creating and refining motion graphics, titles, and visual elements that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The Video Editor will collaborate with creative, marketing, and strategy teams to interpret briefs, contribute ideas, and deliver content optimized for multiple digital platforms. The position also involves managing project files, meeting deadlines, and maintaining an organized workflow across simultaneous projects.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including managing footage from intake to final export.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall image quality.
• Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual assets.
• Working knowledge of industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalents).
• Ability to adapt edits for different formats and platforms (social media, web, ads), with attention to aspect ratios and technical specifications.
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and sound design, with attention to detail and visual quality.
• Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear communication, time management, and responsiveness to feedback.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
