Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Video Editor, based at our office in Sansad Marg.

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Video Editor who knows how to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping content. This role blends strong storytelling with a mobile-first mindset and a deep understanding of what performs on today's social platforms.

Job Timings: 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday & 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit long-form videos (YouTube, podcasts, interviews) with strong narrative flow and pacing.
  • Create engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts that hooks viewers quickly.
  • Add captions, sound effects, transitions, and light motion graphics to enhance engagement.
  • Work across both desktop and mobile editing workflows, depending on content needs.
  • Collaborate closely with content creators and marketing teams in an onsite, fast-moving environment.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, formats, and platform best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining consistent brand quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience editing short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms.
  • Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software.
  • Must own and regularly use an iPhone and a MacBook for editing, file management, and creator workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile editing and creator apps, including Edits, Captions, and other popular social video tools.
  • Strong understanding of hooks, captions, pacing, and visual storytelling optimized for social media.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite and collaborate in person with the founders.
  • Minimum 3 years experience.

Skills

  • Experience using content performance insights to refine and improve future videos.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
  • Basic skills in color correction, audio cleanup, and thumbnail or cover design.
  • A creator-first mindset with a sharp eye for trends and viral formats.
