Role Summary
The Video Editor owns end-to-end video storytelling for Wealthy; combining strong editing craft with creative judgment and performance awareness. This role focuses on creating high-impact brand and performance videos across short-form and long-form formats.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Editing
- Edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos for Reels, YouTube, ads, and campaigns
- Create strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling that capture attention within the first few seconds
- Add subtitles, motion graphics, B-roll, sound design, and basic animations to enhance engagement
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form snippets optimised for each platform
Brand & Performance
- Ensure all videos align with brand tone, visual language, and storytelling standards
- Optimise edits using performance insights (watch time, hook rate, completion rate)
- Maintain visual consistency across formats, campaigns, and platforms
Collaboration & Process
- Work closely with content, design, marketing, and creators to execute briefs
- Manage multiple edits and timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain clean asset management, versioning, and delivery workflows
Trends & Craft
- Stay updated with platform trends, formats, and internet culture
- Continuously improve editing techniques, tools, and workflows
Requirements
- 36 years of experience editing social-first and digital video content
- Strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing short-form and long-form work
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects / DaVinci Resolve is a plus)
- Experience editing for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok
- Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Strong communication skills and comfort with feedback loops
- Proficiency in English (Hindi proficiency is a plus)
- Background in agency, fintech, or content-led brands
